If your pet experiences any form of paralysis, especially sudden-onset of paralysis in the hind end it is recommended that you seek emergency veterinary care at once. There are medical conditions related to paralysis that can lead to permanent paralysis and even death. In cats, dragging hind legs, vocalizing in pain, possibly accompanied by vomiting can be signs of a very serious condition. Any form of paralysis is a time-sensitive emergency.
